This was the experience of a woman who entered her living room in her Wisconsin home only to be greeted by the presence of a 7-foot long boa constrictor!

The snake was wrapped around a stool, possibly because it considered the furniture to be prey. Naturally, the woman was petrified especially considering that the snakes are not known to frequent Milwaukee, but she called the wildlife experts, they managed to get the snake into a bucket after which it was removed from the home. Experts expect that this was likely a pet snake that had gotten loose. They shared plans to try to reunite the snake with its owner or placing it in a suitable home.

Sometimes wildlife behaviour in human settings leave animals caught between a rock and a hard place. For some, they may be domesticated by people and will escape their enclosures.
